Who am I?
Hi, I'm Lily! I'm a photographer, mama to two boys, and I'm married to my soulmate. I love dark beer, great books and nights in with my closest loved ones. Want to get to know me a bit better before deciding whether I am the photographer for you? Read on for my story and why I love what I do.
My story
how i ended up in photographyI have always had a love of photography. Years and years of me being the one with the camera, capturing moments and creating memories for everyone in my life. But it wasn't until I had my oldest son Oliver that I really started to take it seriously. He was born, and before I knew it he was growing and growing and seriously, wouldn't stop growing. I realized then that photos and memories will be all that I have left of his childhood. And thus, a photography business was born.
Get to know my "Why"
Like most people, all I want in life is a place to lay my head at night, a family that loves me, and to be happy. Photography allows me that and so much more. It connects me with other people's happiness - from their wedding days all the way to huge, extended family sessions. I love to be a part of people's lives and to document those special moments for them. Almost nothing brings me more happiness than to see others happy. But my biggest motivator is my family. To provide a good life for my sons, to be able to spend time with my family almost every evening and to be an equal partner to my husband in all ways.
Ultimately, the most important thing about choosing a photographer is that you click. Let's be real, there are a lot of really great photographers out there. How do you even choose? I find that choosing someone who puts you at ease, makes you feel welcomed and comfortable, and someone that you get along with will go a long way in how your photos turn out. I hope that by reading a bit about me and who I am helps to do that for you.

"Lily was the perfect selection for our engagement and wedding photos. She was willing to play in the snow with us and then months later walk through the humid forest.
Lily met with us prior to the wedding to discuss our photo goals. She helped to review the timeline to be sure the day would run smoothly, and we did make changes based on her recommendations.
She captured the little details at both the ceremony and reception. During cocktail hour Lily snuck around and captured our family in their candid moments, those photos bring us so much joy. Our couple photos were a challenge due to an overwhelming amount of mosquitos but Lily killed the editing process and we are amazed with the golden hour shots.
